Well he's officially a 100 days in. I wanted to post a very well written article by David Gergen, a former Reagan advisor and one of the few Republican analysts on CNN. I appreciate his opinion on matters above all others on the network, as he seems to be the most unbiased of the bunch. The article sums up (3) major criterias on how to judge a President's 1st 100 days. All in all - we got a long way to go.

SDSG Weekend Recap
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Things kicked off Friday evening for us @ Webster Hall, watching the artist Young Love go BiG @ his closeout residency show. Nice to have a few special guests (Trip & Nash) show up late night for the after-after party. With little sleep under our belts (besides Z who went to bed at a nervous 12:15AM), we all met up on Saturday at Jules Jazz for a mix of laid back music, tasty bloody mary's & what may be the best breakfast concoction on planet Earth, the 'Croque Madam'.
Post brunch was spent at apt 4W, blasting Boss tunes, doling out berations (some clean / some dirty) & gearing up for what turned out to be one of the musical highlights of the year - the Deads performance at the Garden.
Lets just say that our crew was in our element rocking out to one of the greatest bands of all time. To see these originals playing at such a high caliber was a real treat. Personal highlights included an awesome version of Sugaree, a jammed out St Stephen & a blazin cover of the Rolling stones "Gimme Shelter".
After the previous two days, shelter is exactly what the doctor ordered for this guy. Sunday was spent lamping @ the park with the broham...pretty ladies everywhere, a cool breeze and a nice buzz taboot. A great ending to an awesome weekend in April

TGIF - Oh yeah!
Stoked its Friday. Supposed to be 80 throughout the weekend. Tonight SDSG and friends will be attending Young Love's closeout show at Webster Hall (sweet) > a Saturday blowout Dead show @ MSG (more sweet). Sunday it's out to Stamford CT for a birthday fiesta at the beach house.... drinking games, clean berations, batties, good looks, bomb tracks and great weather???.

A Tampa-area high school pitcher named Patrick Schuster just pitched his 4th straight no-hitter Monday (yes - you read that right), breaking a 24 year old state record in the process. WoW!
Throughout the streak he recorded 60 strikeouts & 30 straight hitless innings.
Seriously, that might be the one of the more difficult, if not the most difficult feat I've have ever heard of. It is rare for anyone in their lifetime to see a single no-hitter pitched in Highschool or the Pros. For a kid to pitch his 4th in a row is absolutely mind boggling.. AND...to make the whole thing somehow sweeter, his herculean effort helped wrap up a state championship for his team. Dauumn!

Two For Tuesday - Young Love Edition
I first saw Young Love (aka Dan Keyes) two years ago @ the Hiro Ballroom on New Years Eve. Having never listened to his music before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, lets just say by the end of the first song, me and the rest the crowd were pretty much blown away.
The guy is an all around talent, who's sound combines danceable rock beats, infectious pop grooves and healthy dose of 80's synth (perfect for bone shaking) Since then, he's been working on his second record "One of Us", set to be released on April 28th.
He's also at the tail end of his April residency at Webster Hall. Be sure to check em out this Friday if you can.
