Yesir. SupDudeSupGuy had one HELL of a time Tuesday night @ the Glow In the Dark MSG show. One got the distinct feeling that Kanye had been preparing his whole life for this precise moment. Leading up to his slot were awesome performances by Lupe Fiasco, N.E.RD & Rhianaa, who covered M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" and Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)." She also brought out her boyfriend Chris Brown to sing on her big hit Umbrella, ella ella.
Then there was Kanye. The first word that comes to mind when decribing his set would be AMAZING. The whole theme centered around a crashed spaceship on an unknown planet "devoid of creativity". Launching into "Good Morning" he dropped bomb after bomb including "Through the Wire" "Diamonds are Forever" & "Flashing Lights". With smoke spewing all over the stage & huge screens projecting space travel imagery, the overall setup was beyond impressive. Kanye was relentless, working himself nonstop for two hours straight without as much as one break.
The show was one of the coolest, most original, high flying, fist pumping, fun performances I have EVER been to. Yesir
