I thoroughly dig it. Some new directions/sampling stuff going on..but IMO- from just listening once..They are trying to harness some of that pure/unadultrated rawness..that made them such a hit with me. Moving forward, while not forgetting where it is one comes from. I thought they had the moving forward thing down. The last few albums reinforce that. To my chagrin, i've felt they lost some of the rawness..authenticy they had, when you first called and said, " T- let me tell you about this band from tn". I'm just one fan out there and they can do whatever the F*nk they please. I'm just excited to hear this album.
