Interviewer: Who are some of your favorite songwriters?

Bob Dylan: Buffett I guess. Lightfoot. Warren Zevon. Randy. John Prine. Guy Clark. Those kinds of writers.

Interviewer: What songs do you like of Buffett's?

Bob Dylan: "Death of an Unpopular Poet." There's another one called "He Went to Paris."

Pretty cool that the first guy who came to his mind was Jimmy Buffet. My personal favorite Buffet tune? "Son of a Sailor". Yup

The respect and admiration extends from Jimmy to Bob too. Last night's Buffett tour opener in Atlanta...last song of the three song encore..

"Jimmy finished the show with “He Went To Paris” (for Bob Dylan)"

That's what we call NICE.
