Interesting

"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, (i.e., the "business cycle") the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." - Thomas Jefferson

I don't think anyone is a fan of private banks getting help from the federal gov't like they are. But Mr. Jefferson could never of foreseen the PURE Greed of Wallstreet. And surely never could of even Fathomed the Pressure Congress put on the private banks, to sign loans for people, who clearily could not afford them. IF you make $30K a year, YOU PROBABLY shouldn't be buying a $450K home. Congress, led by the likes of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd...as late as 2006, PUT ENORMOUS pressure on these banks to sign out loans. For banks to BORROW more.THey did so many ways. Some included claiming racism by banks.

Thomas Jefferson was a WISE individual. I don't take his words lightily. BUt I believe Mr.Jefferson would be very dissappointed in the ways congress abused this.

And i'm sure Mr. Jefferson would be very pissed, if he knew the Fed Gov't would be involved in our lives as much as they are now. I blame both sides of the aisle. He surely wouldn't approve the current Social Security Policy. He surely wouldn't approve 35% of Americans NOT PAYING ANY TAXES. His quotes are great and still have meaning. I don't think in his wildest dreams,he would imagine our country where it is today.

You seem to be scared of what private organizations will do if they aren't carefully watched by the Gov't. I AM TOO. They should be watched.

What's scary? Who the F*CK IS WATCHING THE FEDERAL GOV'T?
