Wednesday: Yom Kippur

Photobucket

Well today is Yom Kippur, which is for us Jewish folk means the "Day of Atonment".

"Yom Kippur is the tenth and final day of the Ten Days of Repentance, which begins with Rosh Hashanah. According to Jewish tradition, God inscribes each person's fate for the coming year into a "book" on Rosh Hashanah and waits until Yom Kippur to "seal" the verdict. During the Ten Days of Repentance, a Jew tries to amend his behavior and seek forgiveness for wrongs done against God and against his fellow man."

No eating. No drinking until sundown tonight. Yeah man

I don't know whether to say " Hapy Yom Kippur" or what. But to all my Jewish Homey's out there, this day is for you.

Couldn't be nicer outside...which is NICE
