Yeah, we did it RIGHT in Beantown this past weekend. When you somehow sit front-row watching My Morning Jacket tear it up on stage...that's a true game changer right there.

Sunday night we watched the VMA's > Entourage. The award show was just plain horrible. They give out Moon Men for music videos..but MTV doesn't actually play videos anymore.....so wtf??. The VMA's used to be the countercultural event of the year, now it's just established that the show will suck up to last years train wrecks(cough Britney cough) in the hopes they will get they their shit together to help MTV's rating's next year. I did think however the host was funny at times, but the rest of the country did not, with his performance being universally panned all over the blogosphere.

Entourage. Same ol' same ol'. Vince acts like a baby, Eric is there to wipe his ass, Turtle follows Vince around with a fat spliff in hand & Drama acts a fool. Can't wait for next weeks show..YawN. Ari though always brings the laughs. He has at least 5 + amazing riffs each episode and we love it.

Tom Brady?? Ouch. To all the Pats fans who read this blog....see ya in 09 fellas'

Now... bring on the berations and please make em clean!

Hey

If Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin can win a Super Bowl, why can't Belichick and Cassel? Oh Cause they 52 other players on the team.

One game in and you are couting them out, huh?

Nice. Let's talk about how much sh*t you gave Eli last year...till the playoff started.

Clean it up son. The PAts still have their defense, still have one of the best offensive lines ( save the superbowl debacle) in football, special teams studs and playmaking receivers. I'm not going to pretend Cassel will pull a 2001 TOmBrady Ses-One...but to all the Jets/Fin's/Bills fans...the AFC east still goes through the Razorblade..and you know this.

Sly, I didn't write this. But my boy from Boston.Com did. Think it sums up my feelings.

In October 2003, I truly hated the Yankees. I mean, I felt it. The Aaron Bleepin' Boone loss affected my mood for days afterward. It made me question why I devoted so many hours and so much emotion to a team that inevitably let me down. For the first time since I was 8 years old, I didn't watch the World Series . . . that is, until a Yankee defeat was imminent. Then I watched. I've been cheering Josh Beckett ever since.

So in that sense, I completely get the national venom for the Patriots. I'm not surprised by all the anecdotes we're hearing about fans in bars in New York and Indianapolis and in all the other football cities the Patriots have pillaged the past seven years erupting in gleeful cheers as Tom Brady writhed on the ground Sunday.

And how predictable was it that the ESPN clowns would climb all over each other to declare the wicked witch in the gray hoodie dead? The Hoges and Schlereths can barely repress their smirks as they wait for the Patriots to get their comeuppance, as if the Super Bowl shocker wasn't enough.

They hate the Patriots, for their success, for all they've denied them. They feel it. I know where they're coming from.

But a word of warning to those who are giddily drop-kicking the Patriots while they're supposedly down: In your bloodthirsty, envious desire to see the fatal blow delivered to the wobbling dynasty, you are severely underestimating the remaining 52 men on this team right now.

Let's get this straight: I'm am not in a state of grief as I write this. I am not a basement-dwelling fanboy in denial. I am not looking for hope anywhere I can find it. I simply believe this to be true:

The Patriots, even without the best player in the NFL, are still going to be a tremendous football team this season. They may not light up the scoreboard, and they may not dominate from the first minute to the 60th, but more often than not - much more often than not - they will win.

They will win because of Randy Moss and Wes Welker. They will win because of Richard Seymour, Vince Wilfork, and Ty Warren. They will win because of Adalius Thomas and Mike Vrabel . . . Dan Koppen and Logan Mankins . . . Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris . . . Rodney Harrison and Deltha O'Neal . . . Dave Thomas and Ben Watson . . . Jerod Mayo and Tedy Bruschi . . .

They will win because of Matt Cassel. And most of all, they will win because of Bill Belichick

Guy - Get over it

Never in my previous post did I imply I was happy to see Tom Brady go down.

He is the best quarterback in the NFL - period. Nobody wins when a player of that caliber is lost for the season.

My comment "on see ya in 09" stands firm. The Pats will battle till the very end...with a very talented squad. But ..without Brady - they are NOT winning the Superbowl.
