Chicago Appreciation Post
Man am I feelin' Chi Town. Been here since Sunday & seriously might not come back. Temps have been in the low 90's with sunhine throughout - basically how its supposed to be in late June (Ya here that NYC!?) Everything about this town is on point. Old school architecture... Well maintained streets... Awesome eateries (props to Lou Malnati's deep dish pizza - mmmm) But most importantly- the stunnies. They. Are. Everywhere. And not your NYC stuck up / non approachable types. We're talking a city chock full of 'girl next doors'. I'll be here till Sunday. Maybe Ms. SDSG is too.

Monday Blues > Chicago Livin
Ello - SDSG is in Chicago this week for the Gen Art Film Fest. Things will slow down a bit - but we'll do our best to keep it up for the fans.
Quick tidbit - I did go to see Phish last night @ Alpine Valley in Wisconsin for the tour closer.
All I'll say for now is: WOW!

Two For Tuesday
Steve Earle once said “Townes Van Zandt is the best songwriter in the whole world and I’ll stand on Bob Dylan’s coffee table in my cowboy boots and say that.”

My buddy Tommy Finwall made an appearance on Letterman last night, where he was used to show the comparison between the height of an average fan and that of a NBA basktball player (Steve Nash). As you can see... it ain't much.
Check out the clip on youtube. He comes in @ the 2:50 mark

A Short Story
"Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The girl said, 'NO!' And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted, The End."

"Is she right? Cause I know that's the *popular* version of what went on there. And a lot of people like to believe that. I wish I could, but I was *there*. I wasn't here in a class room, hoping I was right, thinking about it.
I was up to my knees in rice paddies, with guns that didn't work...Going in there, looking for Charlie, slugging it out with him; While p*ssies like you were back here partying, putting headbands on, doing drugs, and listening to goddamn Beatles albums!
OH! OH! OH

Boston - 5/30-5/31
What a great time in Boston this past weekend. The drive-up itself was one for the ages, filled with blue skies, great tunes and even better looks. Arriving in Beantown, it was if the city had rolled out the red carpet for our crew. Taking a ride through Boston Harbor Sunday afternoon is a memory this guy won't soon forget. And then there was Phish. The Fenway show was & will remain one of my all-time Phish experiences. Seeing them in that setting was simply EPIC.
Some Highlights:
-Sun hitting the crowd as Trey ripped into the Sample Jam
-Moma Dance just setting the tone...
